A sextant manufactured by the German company Freiberger. This is a high quality item fitted with carl Zeiss Jena lenses. S.N. 112001. Manufacturers nameplate to the inside of the case is dated 197 and another note inside the lid states it was tested by Carl Zeiss. It comes with its original lockable wooden case with key, dovetailed joints and carry handle.
