A tri colour Trawling lantern made by the makers Tung Woo of Hong Kong. These are not reproductions, just made with thinner metal than we in England would have used. Made of copper and brass, glass panels and complete with burner, shade and wick inside which looks unused. Tung Woo were the main supplier of ships lanterns to Hong Kong harbour, the Macao Islands and islands in and around China. They have been making lanterns since the 1930's and are now out of business. Measures 22cm high x 14cm wide x 11cm deep.
