A glorious large, tapered, early 20th century light oak wooden and brass RN rum barrel. Four brass bands, brass letters and brass star and acorn finial to the lid. Images show all around the barrel, inside, the inside of the lid and the base.

Used for mixing the rum with water for junior rates.

Possibly from a Capital ship as its just too large for a destroyer.

Measures 65cm to the top of the lid, the acorn is another 6.5cm. The lid diameter is 54cm and the base diameter is 60.5cm.
