A PATT 189 brass and teak submarine binnacle lovingly known as a' Faithful Freddie' with original compensating balls. It doesn't look like this one ever had shutters on the viewing window. The compass is non original by J Blowey of Plymouth as stated on the dial. The light shutters are still present underneath the compass as can be seen in the images.  These items were sold off after the war and were used by fisherman all over the UK. We have left this un polished for the time being  hence the price.
