A rare Russian copper and brass 12 bolt universal diving helmet.
Constructed in beaten copper with brass fittings. Cyrillic makers plate to the front and dated 1983. We believe this was made in Leningrad. It has three faceplates, an exhaust and an inlet. The bonnet is connected by three bolts with rubber flange to the 12 bolt corselet.  This helmet is known as a 12/3 bolt universal diving helmet as it can be used with various diving suits - so a good one to have. It is tinned internally with air ducts and knock valve.
This helmet has a nice patina but could be polished on request.
Dimensions approx 43cm high and weighs around 21kg.
