A Royal Navy Mess plate No.37 of the King Edward V11 reign. Dating this 'Young Head' plate from 1901-1910. Recovered from the seabed of the River Dart, Dartmouth. Makers mark of H&T to the reverse. Bovey Tracey pottery was the commonest makers of this plate but not for this one. Measures 24.5cm diameter.
