A Royal Navy Rum or Grog tub or barrel from the Queen's reign depicting the brass letters 'THE QUEEN GOD BLESS HER' between brass bands, a  brass star to the lid and an acorn finial. This is undergoing minor rrestoration to tighten the bands and give it a coat of polish.
Measures 52cm high without the lid, 61cm with lid and finial, 50cm diameter to the top and 55cm diameter to the base. A real beauty and becoming increasing more expensive and difficult to find.
