A scrimshaw rib, most likely from a whale decorated to one side and measures 33cm long.
One end has a five pointed star shaded in some parts and a bust of a man, continued with a sperm whale, a patterned break, a plant in a pot topped with a spade, the date 1870 and another five pointed star.
