Otherwise known as 'Pieces of Eight' pirate currency. These coins were easily divided into 8 pieces and used to trade with.
To the front of the coin the unmistakeable pillars flanking crests and headed by a crown. To the reverse 'CAROLUS 1111' and dated '1794'.
