A Royal Doulton white plate with blue trim and circular central motif for 'HOULDER LINE OF STEAMERS'  along with a logo of a flag with a cross to the centre.

Research suggests this plate dates from 1902-1912 and is 22cm diameter.

Houlder Line was a number of related British shipping companies originally established by the Houlder brothers. Houlder Brothers & Co was formed in London 1856 and operated in the market for chartered tonnage.

The red image above is the House flag of the Houlder line as shown in the centre of the plate.

No cracks, chips or imperfections, not bad for a plate over 100 years old.
