Made by makers Josef Schneider & Co of Kreuznach, Germany. 10 times magnification with 80mm objective lens. D.F meaning Doppelfernrohr or 'double telescope'
Used by German anti-aircraft batteries for spotting aircraft. Polished aluminium throughout. Brass individual adjusting eye focusing and nurled adjusting wheel for separate eye width distance. Left, right, horizontal and vertical lock on movement. Wood and brass tripod with spreaders.
20/1/23 - these binoculars have just been overhauled by a professional binocular restorer and are A1 crystal clear vision.
