Six copper rum or grog measures used to serve the rum in the days of the rum ration in the Royal Navy. We have a half Gallon, a Quart, a Pint, a half pint, a 1 Gill and a half Gill. They are all bloc lettering except the 1 pint which is italic making it an earlier dating measure. Bloc lettering came in when the italics were phased out.
Quart, Pint and Gill have the George Regina (GR) cypher, the others are stamped ER. (Elizabeth Regina). Tin lined with riveted handles denoting British manufacture. All except the Pint are stamped to the underside with various serial numbers and marks. Largest measures 14cm high and smallest 5cm.
