A victorian era Dutch masthead light.
The makers plate reads 'J C STELLING. AMSTERDAM'. The hanger, fluted top and 'through' fretwork draught holes are typical of this period.
The reflector back is inside the door and there is a section of the door for a plate to cover the reflector, sadly the burner is missing. There is also a section of glass missing up inside the very top of the fresnel lens as shown in the image.
Measures 43cm high x 20cm wide x 20cm deep.
