A Dieppe model for an early 19th Century 16-Gun Brig Sloop of War, circa 1840. The hull has guns arrayed in carriages along the flush deck with some crew and fittings including masts with standing and running riggings and yards with a near full suit of sails. Mounted on a raised plinth with marquetry sides and a glazed dome cover. Overall measurements 28cm x 28cm x 16.5cm.
