With 'GALLON' printed to the front in Bloc lettering and on the base 'G&C. 53148. 1954' and a symbol. The symbol is the logo of a Tap and barrel of G&C which is the initials of Gaskell & Chambers, manufacturers. The date is 1954 and 53148 is the serial or vocabulary number.
With tinning on the inside and riveted handles.
Stands 34cm high.
