A nice one off find. A commemorative fretwork decorated wooden wall shelf to the memory of Lord Nelson with the carved legends 'ENGLAND EXPECTS THAT EVERY MAN THIS DAY WILL DO HIS DUTY'. Upper section consisting of a carved ship - probably Victory, two circular shelves and below the well known legends and two gold coloured anchors. The left anchor has a circular image of the bust of Lord Nelson, the right anchor has the legends 'TRAFALGAR OCTOBER 21 1805'.
Measures 27.5cm high x 36cm wide x 7cm deep.
