An 1870's Royal Navy officers Staffordshire cup and saucer in brown and orange, the crown above a sprig of oak leaves and geometric design to the rim. Not a lot is known about this style but it has been suggested that it was privately ordered by a flag officer in the RN for use in the wardroom of his ship.
Cup top measures 7.5cm diameter and saucer 14cm diameter.
