An early brass Chadburns single sided telegraph made by the Chadburns Telegraph Company Limited, Liverpool.  Brass throughout with oil lamp and burner present for illumination of the engine orders.  Milk glass dial - 21cm diameter. There is an inspection hatch on the column which is mounted on a wooden plinth.  Height 92cm. With handle 102cm. Diameter of wooden base 29cm.
