A beautifully hand painted blue glass rolling pin Sailors art typically made up until the 1900's. "Be wise then Christian while you may. For swiftly time is flying. The thoughtless man who laughs today. Tomorrow may be dying" In gold, red and green. Sailing ships to either end. Measures 39cm approx by 6cm wide. One end of the rolling pin is broken open. They used to store or hide salt or coca inside and break one end to get at it when it had made its travels.
