A recently refurbished and polished 19th century brass dry card binnacle compass.
This binnacle has built in double side light burners which have been electrified, top cap and faintly stamped to the top 'ELSIE' -  probably the original vessel it was from. Wew have tried to do some research but not turned up anything!
Mounted on a hard wood base
The binnacle itself stands 30cm high, about 27cm diameter at the base and also about 30cm at its widest point.
